about

The debut Giant Metal Crickets album, Incito, is a collection of improvised-then sculpted compositions (centered around heavily warped and treated guitar), spanning the floaty, spiraling collages of sound of "There Goes That Strange Blue Fish", through the squelching, squawking, bleeps n' shrieks of the title track and “Black Mamba”, the arching life-death journey of the house-driven "An Act of Letting Go", the otherworldly, rippling arpeggios of "Harpy in the Sun" through the jazzy chords and screaming climactic explosions of sound that make up "Seasong", Incito is a heady and emotional trip.
